Posted by Darla on 7/22/2003 from 67.121.52.108:

I have suffered from "cysts" or "clogged glands" in the Montgomery Glands on my areola for over 10 years. At first there were one or two on each breast. Now, there are close to 20 on each breast's areola. Some are very large in diameter--like a large face pimple, others much smaller.

I do not seem to be "harmed" by these glands, however, I suffer the embarassing physical aspect of this condition. And I have never met another woman with the same problem.

My glands appear to be severly clogged with puss and resemble ugly pimples with white heads on them. These "pimples" never go away and are painful to purge. In fact, purging them seems to cause them to grow bigger. There is more puss inside them just days after I try to purge the hard puss inside of them.

I do not understand the cause and have consulted several doctors, including an OB/GYN and a dermotologist. They have no idea what the cause or cure is. Can anyone help me?
