Keynote Speaker Betsy Mullen
President/CEO of WIN Against Breast Cancer
Betsy knocked on every door in the U.S. Capitol lobbying
for the passage of the first-ever Breast Cancer Research Stamp. She was told
it would take nothing short of an act of God to convince Congress to pass
that bill. The bill became law in 1997 and since has been reauthorized for
sale for the next two years.
Come listen to Betsy as she shares the victorious story of
her victorious nation-wide efforts for breast cancer.
Steve and Jennifer Isaacson
Winners of Redbook's Husband of the Year
It is no wonder that Steve Isaacson was named Redbook
Magazine's "Husband of the Year." Steve supported his wife
Jennifer, through a battle with ovarian cancer - 11 surgeries, chemotherapy,
radiation, and lengthy hospital stays.
For this, he was selected from 574 entrants for the
magazine's first-ever "Husband of the Year" honor.
Doctors told Steve that Jennifer was going to die. Today,
she is cancer-free and is regaining her strength. The Isaacsons will share
how they championed this disease together.
