On Monday a small hard lump was found in my mom's breast when she was getting a manual breast exam by her doctor. She had her regular Mammogram back in August and nothing was found then. There is no history of cancer in our family but I am so worried because she is 59 and she had her first child after age 30 and she is postmenopausal so I read on the internet that those are all causes of breast cancer. And if you are over 60 you are more likely to get it instead of it just being a cyst. She is having a xray and sonogram done next Monday. About how long should it take for them to give back the results. Its so hard to wait.
