Your doctor is probably recommending another type of biopsy because FNAs (fine needle aspirations) can show false negatives. It is good that all of your tests show negative, and it is probably benign as 80% of all lumps are benign. But it is always best to be certain. Another type of biopsy, such as a core or stereo tactic, will give the pathologist more tissue to look at.
I know it is stressful to wait, but there is no other way to get around it. Just try to remember that worrying won't change the outcome.
