My mom has taken 5 cycles of the combination without severe side effects. But the secondlast herceptine+taxotere injection brought in a lot of side effects. She now has a severe sputum coughs and sever skin rashes all over her body. Her toungue is full of sores. she cannot eat and is basically on liquid diet.
I would be thankful if anybody could tell me how to get these side effects treated. are these side effects related to cardiac dysfunction due to herceptine. please send me a quick reply.
Any alternative treatments for lung mets will be highly appreciated.
