Dear Diana,

It sounds as though you may want to consider a second opinion with an oncologist. In the patient that we have spoken to over the years, not all breast cancer patients are given CT scans. If you feel strongly that you should be given a CT scan, then find the doctor who will take your concerns seriously.

Find out from some telephone calls to oncologists in their area what the treatment protocol is for your particular stage of breast cancer. In addition call 1-800-4 CANCER and ask them to send you the treatment protocol for your type of cancer. This will give you some idea of what the treatment protocol should be for your situation.

We do not provide medical opinions and do not intend to have our website subsitute for good sound medical advice or recommendations from a qualified physician.

Remember, that when in doubt, check it out!

Take care and if you would like to call us directly, you can reach our office toll free at 866-294-6222.

Regards,
