Posted by maureen on 9/9/2002 from 209.240.198.61:

my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago. the tumor was estrogen positive, therefore she takes tamoxifen. she had chemo and radiation. she was also lymph node positive. now, 2 years later, her mammogram shows tiny "spots" around the area where she had her lumpectomy. her doctor wants to do a biopsy because they werent on her last mammogram....has anyone experienced this? could her cancer have returned?

also, has anyone heard of radiofrequency in the use of cancer? i belive there are a few hospitals experimenting with this procedure. anyone have any information?

thank you. my thoughts go out to all of you. i pray that a cure be found soon.
