I feel like I'm on a roller coaster. I had decided to go to New Orleans and have Dr. Allen do a DIEP flap along with the mastectomies. Today I saw my GP about another health problem. We were talking about my surgery and I shared with her what I wanted to do. She advised against it, said if I had any complications doctors in my home town might not assist me because they didn't do the surgery. She is encouraging me to get implants which I didn't want because of all the negative thing I've been reading about them. Now I'm back to square one and don't know what to do. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.
