FAQ ]Posted by Nina on 1/21/2002 from 64.108.195.7:I got a call today from my sister in law saying that my mother in law was at the hospital..I asked her what was wrong she said the doctors believe she has cancer I hung up the phone so quickly and my husband called he had already heard the news about his mother he rushed home to pick me up so we could go to the hospital as soon as we got to the hospital they allowed us to go be with my mother in law with the rest of the family my mother in law told her daughter and I about the lump she had noticed in her breast a year ago all I could do is hold back the tears and say to myself "moms a whole year" well she said when she got to the hospital the doctor had asked her to hold her shirt up the first thing he said was you have breast cancer a second doctor came in and said the same thing one of her breast was swollen so large it was red in certain spots like she had a rash, and some areas was like black and blue I felt my mother in law breast and it felt like she had lumps every wheres her breast was so hard and lumpy I fought back tears hoping that this cannot be true the doctors did not want to say anymore until the specialist comes in to see her which would be Tuesday morning. I know I have to be strong for my mother in law and my husband I pray that it is not to late..I love her so dearly everyone does. please pray for my mother in law and if possible share some stories.
Thanks,
Nina
