My mom is starting chemo this wednesday. She and I are very anxious as to what to expect. She will be getting 6 months worth every 3 weeks. The first round is C/A and the second round is Taxatore with something else (i forget)
I have been searching the web and find horrific stories of side effects with cytoxan. I'm so worried and scared for her right now. I don't want to see her suffer through chemo. Is there anyone who received this combo of chemo??
I'm afraid if she starts having bad side effects that she won't continue with the regimen.
How bad is the vomiting and naseau??
I don't know if I can handle seeing her getting sick from this.
We have been through the mastectomy...she recovered from that fairly well with and ok attitude. I'm just hoping that the rest goes as well but right now I'm panicking!!
Please help
