Diane,

Try not to worry too much. Cysts are mostly benign (especially fluid filled ones). I would venture to say, that they want to do a diagnostic mammogram (just a close-up mammogram) to look at the calcifications. They are of greater concern. Tney usually are benign, but COULD indicate anything from atypical hyperplasia (benign) to DCIS (cancer in situ among other things. Rest assured, even if it is cancer, if it wasnt showing on a previous mammogram, then it is caught VERY early. I wish you the best.
