Breast Cancer Research Stamp Statistics
As
of June 15, 2001, 305 million Breast
Cancer Research Stamps have been sold since July 29, 1998, raising $21
million for biomedical breast cancer research at the National
Institutes of Health (NIH) and
the Department
of Defense (DoD) Breast Cancer Research Programs. (Source:
United States Postal Service Government Relations). The
awareness raised as a result of this historic stamp designed to saves lives
continues to be priceless.
