FAQ ]Posted by Texas Anne on 1/30/2004 from 12.162.144.246:Last Summer, I had a mammogram and ultrasound, which came back as a category 3, meaning they strongly recommended additional imaging in six months just to be sure that what they THOUGHT might be benign was actually benign.
Good luck gals.....my repeat 6 month mammo and ultrasound results were given to me by my breast specialist yesterday and I was upgraded to BIRAD 2.....BENIGN!!!!
She explained that since I have breast implants, I'll probably never get a category 1, and that a category 2 is as good as gold in my case.
Yeah! Reason for cheer, as I've been scared spitless for the past six months.
Love to all,
Anne
