FAQ ]Posted by Jennifer on 10/23/2003 from 68.210.113.73:Thanks Shelley for your reply. Since my lump does not show up on mammogram or ultrasound the surgeon offered me two options - 1) to wait a year to see if it changes & 2) to do an excisional biopsy. I opted for the excisional biopsy - having the lump there will just continue to concern me and it will cause further concerns everytime I have a CBE, mammogram etc.. I think having it not only gone but knowing definitely what it is will be the best decision for me.
I have my surgery on next Tuesday, Oct. 28th. I believe all will be well but I will be thankful to know that for sure.
Thanks again,
Jennifer
