I know how scary it is to find lumps, but don't get too upset yet. 80% of all lumps are benign cysts and by the way you are describing it, I would bet that you shouldn't worry. Pain is a good symptom for benign cysts and so is the fact that it is round and movable. I've had many like that , which turned out to be fluid filled cysts. The dr only poked me with a needle and extracted the fluid. That was usually the end of it. So take heart that there is a good chance of it being benign. Check out medical books at the library and websites such as mayoclinic.com. They are often useful in finding information.
