Hello to fellow fighters!

I just celebrated by 10th anniversary cancer free. It has been a wonderful 10 years and I am determined to be here for my 20th anniversary. I have come a long way over these years and would love to find informaton on how I can give back to community by doing volunteer work with breast cancer patients.

I was diagonosed in a very small town, and was sent home with the words "you have cancer" echoing in my head. I had a surgical date and nothing else. After the surgery, again I was sent home with the knowledge that I would be contacted in 3-4 weeks about the tumor boards decision on whether I would need further treatment and nothing else. What was I supposed to do now, what lay ahead of me, how was I to cope, what should I tell my 12 year old daugther, what, what what? I would love to provide some of those answers for current breast cancer patients who are in need of that support. Do you know where I can go to provide that help?
