I have a small, round, hard lump in my areola (feels like a beebee)which is very prominent and seems to be just under the skin. The doctor told me last November to put heat compresses on it and also use an antibacterial cream. The lump is still there and has increased in size somewhat. I saw the doctor last week and she said it is a cyst in a montgomery gland and to not be concerned about it.

I totally trust my doctor, but I also don't like having this lump there...have you heard of this type of cyst before and do you think I should be concerned?
