Dear China:

I have DCIS too (for the second time, I had it 10 years ago in the other breast) and I am trying to decide on my treatment. I am curious at to whether lumpectomy/radiation is possible for you? My surgeon now is recommending I have a mastectomy but I am frantically doing research as to why the lumpectomy is not a viable choice for me again. So, I am curious as to your situation.

I have seen two reconstruction surgeons and I am happy to tell you more about what they told me if you would like.
Best, Lilly
