According to the book “The Complete Book of Breast Care” by authors Neil H. Lauersen, M.D., Ph.D. and Eileen Stukane, “Whenever the breast undergoes any sort of traumatic event, latent pain can be a consequence. Anytime you notice continuing pain, consult your physician.”

And in Dr. Susan Love’s Breast Book” she states that “When treatments are over you’ll continue to get some tenderness and soreness in your breast, which will gradually go away. But it will never completely feel normal again. You’ll continue to have some sharp, shooting pains from time to time-how often varies greatly from woman to woman.”

I hope this helps with your concerns.

AN IMPORTANT REMINDER: Please keep in mind that we are not health care providers. Also, it is very difficult to render an opinion without knowing all the facts of any one particular case. One strong recommendation we would like to make is that you pursue your question(s) with your own physicians. You should feel fully empowered to obtain a satisfactory answer and feel free to seek a second or third opinion.

I know we have spoken before but please feel free to contact me via telephone or via email if you have additional questions.
