As per the instructions of the customer service representative, you will need to write a letter of appeal to your insurance company. We know this process can take time and, in the meantime, you are left without prosthesis, which is so difficult to deal with on top of everything you have already been through. I would be glad to help you with this if you would like. You may contact me via email or our toll free number (866) 2 WIN ABC (294-6222).

There is a company that you can check out via the Internet that has very nice prostheses and breast enhancers at very reasonable costs. This could hold you until your insurance appeal comes through. (See the link below)

You can also contact your local American Cancer Society office (800) ACS-2345 as they can provide you with a free temporary prosthesis.
