Julie,
Glad to hear that your mom is doing so well. With Taxol the nausea went away but I experienced severe joint pain in my knees and ankles - my doctor gave me some pain medication to help me sleep because that's when the pain seemed to be the greatest - and the tips of my toes and fingers tingled and by the end of the 4th treatment were a little numb. And I think it was just an accumulation of all the chemo but I found that I was more tired too. All that went away after chemo was done and, unlike your mom who hasn't experienced any nausea (I'm so jealous) I did, and I tell ya I'd rather have the joint pain than the nausea any day. But my hair started growing back just a little when I switched to Taxol. It was like peach fuzz and so soft.
Continued good luck to your mom during the rest of her chemo. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.
Pam from Minnesota
