My wife was treated for stage 3b breast cancer 11 years ago.She had 17 out of 18 nodes positive under her arm and acluster of nodes in her neck positive that they could not take out.She recieved 3 months of high dose chemotheraphy followed by 6 weeks of radiation and then another month of chemotheraphy after radiation .She quit the chemotheraphy after the fourth month because of side effects. I guess what I would like to know is it unusal for someone with that much spread to stay cancer free this long and does anyone have a similar story like this . Thanks
