Does any singer or wind player have experience with radiation treatments? How did it affect your ability to continue to perform? I'm an oboist and am worried that I won't be able to play the Bizet Symphony in C anymore. I admit to being ignorant about oxygen exchange capacity vs. total volume. Is this an issue for you?

Do you know any singers/wind players who have had radiation therapy and would be willing to communicate NOW?

My rad onc admits that she has not treated atheletes or musicians, so I'm pretty desperate. I don't know if I should consider having it all taken off and skipping the rad therapy.
