Posted by Michele on 3/30/2001 from 64.12.105.168:

While doing a self breast exam I noticed a dark discharge coming from one duct on my left nipple, along with a milky, yellowish discharge from various ducts on both breasts. After wiping the dark discharge on a peice of white paper, it looks to be green. I have been to see my family practitioner and he did a manual exam as well. He did not find any lumps and couldn't reproduce the dark discharge. I am n ow scheduled to have a mammogram and a follow up with a general surgeon. I also have blood tests pending on my prolactin level and thyroid. I am out of my mind with worry about this. They did mention the possiblity of a Intraductal Papilloma. It is a couple of weeks yet before I get my mammogram and am very frustrated and scared about the whole thing. Any help would be appreciated!
