Dear Tina,

I so appreciate you contacting us on behalf of your friend in Germany. Unfortunately, I am unaware of an organization that will help with women in the US, let alone abroad. It is truly a tragedy that so many women have no assistance to help them through this disease. I wonder if there are any assistance programs available through the Government or any Foundations that exist in Europe? I am so sorry that I am not able to help. Perhaps a news story about her predicament might bring some support to her. If she is active in her church, perhaps the congregation can help as well. If you speak to her pastor or priest maybe they might have some ideas. Do they have disability leave like in the US? Perhaps because of the stress associated with her condition, it makes it too difficult for her to work and she can receive support. Perhaps you may hear of a philanthropist in your area who might be able to help. What about all the people she has helped joining together to help in whatever ways they can?
Other than these suggestions, I have no other ideas. I am sorry I can offer nothing further than that.
