FAQ Posted by Laurie on 3/1/2001 from 204.210.39.26:In reply to: Use of Deodorant during Radiation Therapy posted by Judy Mary on 2/11/2001 from 205.188.200.181:
I went thru radiation last summer. I live in San Diego & it was a pretty hot summer. I couldn't stand myself without deodorant. I was so concerned that I was offensive to people around me that I finally asked the techs what I could do & they said I could try corn starch powder or the crystal deodorant. I had one of the crystal deodorants and it worked great. I still prespired but at least from a fragrence stand point I was much more comfortable. Check with your Dr. &/or techs and see what they say. I used a really great product to help prevent any burning etc. from the radiation. If you want the contact and name of the product please just let me know. My thoughts are with you.
