FAQ ]Posted by Anna on 8/13/2000 from 205.188.199.194:Dear friends,
I'm 34 years old and have two lovely kids.It took me six years to made the decission for my breast augmentation after the birth of my children.
I had my breast augmentation 8 months ago, saline filled implants and located under the breast muscle.
I've found a lump in my left breast 3 months ago and have proceeded ultrasound and a diagnostic mammogram last week. The result of my mammogram was negatif and the lump was diagnosed as benign.I'm very concern because my lump seem to be hard,painless,non-moveble and very unusual shape(felt like a finger shape). My doctor refused to perform fine needle aspiration because of my implants( It's understandable.) My lump is very much high up just right behind my nipple and there are plenty of breast tissue and muscle on top of my implants.Because it was Benign, It's that possible for me to consult a general surgeon to have some tissue taken off from the lump to be tested without interfering the implant?I would sleep better by having a biopsy test to get a more accurate result and if the biopsy is not an option for implants breast, I would have mine removed.
Please HELP!! I need more information or experience advise from the ladies who has had the same situation.
Thanks in advance,
From, Anna.
