Thanks Susan,
I have posted to Randy on webMD and she advised getting it biopsied. EVERYONE has said to get it biopsied. But my surgeon is the one I am having a hard time convincing. I don't want to seem "cancer-phobic", but it seems that everytime I turn around there is a problem. I DO have SEVERE fibrocystic breasts (very lumpy), but don't have the cysts that are usually involved. And to make it worse, this morning after my shower, I noticed a black discharge from my nipple on the same breast. From what I have been reading, a black discharge is probably from duct estasia, which is another thing that showed up in my pathology on the last biopsy (along with intraductal papillomas, and sclerosing adenosis). So it all MAY end up being benign. BUT I just don't feel comfortable with it left inside my body. So what if they are harmless! Isn't it MY peace of mind, along with MY health that should be the concern. I guess they scared me more than I realised when the surgeon called me in to his office after the last biopsy and told me I had DCIS even before he got the final pathology. Now I am scared to take a chance.
