I have heard of some tumors being reisitant to certain chemo drugs. When you say your cancer reoccurred, I can't imagine another lump could suddenly appear, as breast cancer grows very slowly. Is this "recurrance" in the same breast? Location? What degree of clear margins did they get on initial surgery? Could it be another lump that was missed? How was this "new" tumor diagnosed? If it is picked up on a mammogram, it has probably been there 4-6 years, if its palpable, 7-10 years. I would really like to know more specific details of your case. What are your doctors recommending? Please feel free to email me or call 626-332-2255.
