I have read about taking Advil or Tylenol a few days before treatment to reduce pain, or premedication with antihistamines or steroids during treatment to reduce allergic reactions. Did you try any of these while in treatment or presently? Does your Dr. recommend anything now? I will check into this and get back to you.

Try Evening Primrose Oil for hotflashes. Also refer to books on alternative methods of dealing with systems menopause ("Dr. Susan Love's Hormone Book", or "Menopause Without Medicine" Linda Ojeda) There are many out there.
