Mary, Hi. My name is Melissa. I am a breast cancer survivor of 3 yrs. and 6 mths. I am 33 yrs. old. I had a lumpectomy and lymph node disection at the time of my troubles. Since then my doctor schedules mamograms every 6 mths. for me. In one of my last mamos. they spotted 2 calcifications behind my scar on my right breast. I was a bit nervous, but they said that is quite a common thing. They also said to come backin 3 mths. and let them look at them again, and if no change, there was nothing to worry about. I went and had another mamo., no change. So, we'll just keep an eye on them and pray. They had said to me 2 was really not a worry, 3 or more they need to be a little more concerned. I guess if there are quite a few they have more of a chance of changing into something to worry about. If your concerned, which I can see you are, set up an app. to talk with your Dr., that's part of their job. Don't walk around feeling unsure and uneasy! It's your life, no one elses.
