FAQ Posted by Pam Lachowitzer on 3/16/2000 from 128.101.50.67:I'm going on an airplane for the first time since my mastectomy. I'd heard there is a lymphedema risk with flying. What precautions should I take to prevent this? I haven't experienced any signs of lymphedema, but I know it's always a risk. I'd read that elevating my arm during the flight would work or should I get fitted with a sleeve?
