Question: Does your health care team have this information? If they do not, it is important information for them to have. Was your biopsy/lumpectomy in the same breast and area that the abmnormality has shown up in? Scar tissue can show up as a suspicious spot on a mammogram. I do realize that your present situation is a new finding so this may not correlate in your case but it is worth discussing with your radiation tech and doctors.
I am very glad that you are going in for a second opinion -- it's good medicine in my opinion! Please do let us know how your visit goes and how you are doing.
