In Memoriam... Joy C. Burton

This issue is dedicated in memory of our friend and Breast Buddy Volunteer, Joy Burton. Joy was a friend to many, an inspiration to all. She was creative and dedicated, true to herself and to those whom she knew. In the workplace and in her community, she was a constant reminder of what courage and humor can do to help in the battle against breast cancer. Joy was what her name simply states, a pure joy to know. She had a smile that could illuminate a gloomy day, a laugh that echoed in any room and a spirit that filled the empty places in so many hearts. Joy could make you laugh and she could make you cry.

"Joy's artwork gave WIN ABC its wings to fly."

Joy was a wonderfully talented graphic artist for Kaiser Permanente in Fontana. Our beautiful butterfly logo will be a constant reminder of her artistic ability and kind spirit. Joy's artwork gave WIN ABC its wings to fly.

We are given gifts from those whom we meet in our lives. Anyone who met or knew Joy was blessed. Her spirit remains strong with her family and friends. We will all truly miss her.
